Description
SAVE THOUSANDS IN ENGINE REPAIRS
- The Active Fuel Management system in your GM cycles special lifters on and off hundreds of times per drive. Eventually one fails, the camshaft gets chewed up, and metal goes through the entire engine.
- The average repair bill is $6,000, and a full engine replacement can run over $10,000. Owners who installed the disabler before damage started have collectively saved over $500 million that would have otherwise gone to GM dealerships.
✅ Protect a $50,000+ truck for less than the cost of a tank of gas.

INSTALLS IN 10 SECONDS
- Most fixes for AFM require a mechanic, expensive tools, or risky ECU tuning. That's why most owners put it off until their lifters are already failing.
- The disabler plugs into your OBD2 port under the dash and locks your engine in full V8 or V6 mode the moment it's connected. No tools, no software, no shop visit.
✅ Install anywhere in seconds, and unplug it anytime to return to stock.

DRIVES THE WAY IT WAS MEANT TO
- Every time AFM kicks in or out, your truck shifts between full power and half power. You feel a shudder when cruising and a lag when accelerating, with a noticeable jolt every time the cylinders fire back up. It's worst in stop-andgo traffic and on hills, where the engine is constantly switching modes.
- With AFM disabled, your engine stays in full mode every mile you drive.

STOP LOSING A QUART OF OIL BETWEEN CHANGES
- AFM doesn't just destroy engines, it also burns oil. When the system deactivates cylinders, oil gets pulled past the piston rings and burns in the combustion chamber. Owners regularly report adding 1-2 quarts of oil between changes on AFM-equipped trucks.
- After disabling AFM, oil consumption drops dramatically. Many owners report no measurable consumption at all.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
✅ WILL THIS VOID MY WARRANTY?
No. The disabler doesn't modify your ECU and leaves no trace. Unplug it before a dealership visit and your truck reads as 100% stock. Plenty of owners run them under active warranty without issue.
✅ IS IT SAFE TO RUN MY ENGINE ON ALL CYLINDERS ALL THE TIME?
Yes. GM didn't add AFM because it's better for your engine. They added it to hit federal fuel economy targets. GM V6 and V8 engines were originally designed to run on all cylinders all the time, and they did exactly that reliably for decades before AFM existed. Disabling AFM removes the constant cycling that wears out lifters and camshafts. The engine runs the way it was meant to.
✅ WILL I LOSE FUEL MILEAGE?
Slightly. Most owners report a drop of about 0.5 to 1 MPG on the highway and almost no measurable change in city driving. The savings GM promised from AFM were always marginal. For most owners, the trade-off is worth it — saving 1 MPG isn't worth a $6,000 engine repair.
✅ WILL THIS FIX MY ENGINE IF IT'S ALREADY MAKING NOISE?
The disabler prevents future damage by stopping the system from running. It cannot reverse damage that's already occurred. If your truck is already ticking, knocking, or misfiring, get it diagnosed first. The disabler protects engines that aren't yet damaged.
✅ DOES IT WORK ON V6 ENGINES T00?
Yes. Several GM V6 engines (like the 3.6L in the Camaro, Colorado, Impala, ATS, CTS, and more) also have Active Fuel Management. The disabler works on both V6 and V8 GM vehicles equipped with AFM or DFM from 2007 to 2022.
✅ WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AFM AND DFM?
AFM (Active Fuel Management) is the original system used from 2007 to 2018. DFM (Dynamic Fuel Management) is the updated version in 2019+ trucks. They work on the same principle and have the same failure mode. Our device covers both AFM and DFM systems on supported model years.
